Coldplay is bringing The Music of The Spheres World Tour, with special guest H.E.R., to Cotton Bowl Stadium on Friday, May 6, at 7 p.m. The U.S. shows for this eco-friendly tour begin in Dallas and comes with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. Tickets are still on sale for the event on Ticketmaster.What’s special about this show is Coldplay’s advocacy for environmental and socially conscious causes. The band plans to cut tour emissions by 50% by powering each show exclusively on renewable energy.
Riding DART to the concert is a great way for Coldplay fans to reduce greenhouse admissions by decreasing the number of vehicles on the road. DART’s light rail trains are zero-emission vehicles powered by electricity.
The legendary pop-rock band will perform at the Cotton Bowl in Fair Park, a short walk from Fair Park Station on the Green Line. In addition to regularly scheduled Green Line trains, DART will operate special post-concert trains. Red Line trains will provide service to Parker Road Station and additional Green Line trains will provide service to North Carrollton/Frankford Station.
