For the seventh year, DART Police Department will be hosting a free National Night Out against crime event Tues., Oct. 3, from 6-8 p.m.
The public is invited to meet police, fare enforcement officers, staff and neighbors in the parking lot of police headquarters, 2111 South Corinth Street Road, Dallas, located at
Illinois Station on DART's Blue Line.
DART's event is fun for the entire family with health and wellness literature, crime prevention and safety information, food, beverages and music. Free face painting and haircuts (with student ID) will also be provided to kids along with lots of giveaways.
Now in its 34th year, National Night Out is free to the public and designed to help build strong relationships between children, families and the police by sending a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
