In case you haven't noticed, there's a new face on DART's board of directors.
Dallas City Council elected Patrick Kennedy, a Dallas-based urban planner and designer who has more than 15 years of experience in his field.
Kennedy brings expertise in a number of sectors such as mixed-use projects, sustainability, regional urban parks, downtown revitalization/strategic planning studies, design guidelines and comprehensive new town developments.
In 2009, he began Space Between Design Studio, an urban planning, landscape architecture and consulting firm in Dallas.
Kennedy graduated from The Pennsylvania State University School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture in State College with a focus in Urban Design and Sustainability.
He's also currently a member of the Real Estate Council, the Urban Land Institute and Congress for the New Urbanism.
