Riders on bus routes 2, 11, 12, 26, 35 and 409 should anticipate detours on Saturday, Jan. 18 and Monday, Jan. 20 for events relating to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Saturday - The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Dallas City Hall and ends at Fair Park with a Health and Information Fair and Affordable Care Act Enrollment taking place at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center at 2922 MLK, Jr. Blvd.

Monday - The 2014 Elite News MLK Parade & Festival begins at 10 a.m. at the corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Lamar Street in Dallas. The parade will proceed eastbound on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. towards Fair Park where the festival is being held at the Tower Building in Fair Park.
