Construction has officially begun on a seven-story parking facility between
Victory Station and the American Airlines Center. The garage, which is unaffiliated with DART, will be completed in approximately 15 months. In the meantime, the walkway between Victory Station and the AAC will be relocated 100 feet to the north. Passengers are advised to use extra caution in the area.
According to the Dallas Morning News, the parking facility cost $33 million will have 1,271 parking spaces. It will be owned by the city upon completion and funded by the area's tax increment finance district.
