Dallas 2017 Senior Games beginning Feb. 22 and watch an Olympic-style fitness and leisure competition.
For the first time since 2007, the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department is reviving the games, which feature 12 different competitive sports and more than 32 different events.
From walk/run races to Texas Hold ’em matches, you can witness contestants 50 years and older compete for the win.
The 2017 Senior Games kick off Feb. 22 at 9 a.m. with a 5K run and a 1K walk at Fair Park. The Opening Ceremony follows at the Fair Park Women’s Building at 10 a.m. The event is open to the public and invites you to enjoy vendors, entertainment, games and a host of activities.
