A note from Marlon:
My name is Marlon Cameron, and I am a transit center supervisor. I have been with DART for a year and a half.
I love my job because it allows me to use my customer engagement skills, which I have cultivated over the years working in management. I also can provide a public service, which is a great help to people traveling to and from various destinations. I love helping people and being of service to others.
My day begins by coming into the office and checking emails and phone lines to address any issues. During that time, I also clock personnel in or out. After I finish my administrative duties, I proceed into the field where I assist customers with their travel needs and assist my staff with issues or concerns they may have. I also provide my staff with necessary personal protective equipment to keep them safe and secure during these troubling times.
I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Let’s all work together and be kind to one another.
