Earlier this summer, the Federal Transit Administration announced a $60.76 million grant agreement with DART for the construction of DART’s Red and Blue Line platform extension project.
That means more room for you to hop on board and get to work, school, dinner or that concert you’ve been waiting to attend.
The project will allow for more riders and longer trains by lengthening platforms at 28 stations along Red and Blue light rail lines that currently hold two-car trains. When the project is done, all stations on these lines will be able to hold three-car trains.
