Question:
Is it safe to travel for the holidays?

Answer:
As COVID-19 cases continue to increase locally and nationally, the CDC recommends considering how you can modify your holiday plans to reduce the spread of COVID-19 to keep your friends, families and communities healthy and safe.

You can often find information on the number of cases in an area on the local health department website or on the CDC’s COVID Data Tracker County View.

Traveling on DART
If you ride DART to travel this holiday season, there are certain precautions you must follow. Have you heard of the three W’s? Wear a mask, wash and sanitize your hands and watch your distance.

In addition, remember to bring your essential items, such as your cell phone, which has the DART Say Something and GoPass apps, your GoPass Tap card for touch-free ticketing, your face mask and hand sanitizer.

Outside Travel
If your holiday travels take you outside DART’s service area, stay in the know of travel notices and advisories for the locations you plan to visit to help you make the best travel decisions.
