Friday, Feb. 2

All this weekend and next, you can catch the DFW Boat Expo at Dallas Market Hall. Whether you’re a serious boater or just dreaming, you’ll get a chance to explore, compare and learn about a wide range of boats. Dallas Market Hall is a short walk from Market Center Station on the Green and Orange lines, and also is accessible from Bus Route 749, which runs between Convention Center and Southwestern Medical District/Parkland stations.

Saturday, Feb. 3

Target First Saturdays is back at the Nasher Sculpture Center. The family-friendly program gives you the opportunity to explore art through a "Big Idea," with hands-on crafts, take-home activities and a scavenger hunt related to the theme. There’s also an interactive tour for the whole family, a NasherKids Live! performance, live artist demos and storytellers from the Dallas Public Library. So what’s the big idea? This month’s theme is “Architecture” and the Art Project is “Paper Places.” The Nasher is a short walk from St. Paul Stations, which is served by all four DART Rail lines. You can also get to the museum via D-Link (Route 722).

Addison's Cavanaugh Flight Museum is showcasing the fun of drone racing today with an event called Drone Wars V. The races are held inside an 11,000 square foot aircraft hangar, and involve crazy obstacle courses that are sure to thrill. The museum is accessible via Bus Route 534 (get off at Addison and Westgrove), which departs from Addison Transit Center.

This is your last chance to catch MainStage Irving-Las Colinas’ production of The Gazebo, a comic thriller by Alec Coppel. After his wife falls victim to blackmail, a writer of TV whodunits commits a murder and finds himself with real-life detectives hot on his trail.
