Season’s greetings!
Let DART connect you to holiday events, displays, and performances. And keep an eye out for our festive holiday trains and buses. You can track their locations here, or on the GoPass® app.
While you’re experiencing the joy of the season, help DART’s elf squad in filling a bus with cheer! It’s a holiday tradition here at DART to Stuff A Bus with new and unwrapped toys, adult socks, blankets, and canned goods. The donations go to seniors and families in need. We encourage you to contribute!

Please join us at the Addison Stuff A Bus event:

The address is served by bus route 229. You can also donate via Amazon here through Dec. 12.

And don’t forget to check out The Trains at NorthPark through Jan. 4. DART is proud to partner with the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas to help sponsor the event, which is the biggest miniature train exhibit in Texas. It includes vivid, fascinating landscapes along 1,600 feet of track that journey through America’s most iconic cityscapes. You can get to NorthPark Center on bus route 20, departing from Park Lane Station on the Red and Orange lines.
DART also takes you to these holiday happenings that help you and your family celebrate the wonder of the season:

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, presented by Company of Rowlett Performers, is adapted from the bestselling book. The crowd pleaser features favorite seasonal music and plenty of comedy. Catch it Dec. 12-13 at Garland’s Plaza Theatre – an easy walk from Downtown Garland Station on the Blue Line.

Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet features all the well-known characters you’ve come to love – from the Sugar Plum Fairy to the Mouse King. The seasonal classic features an international cast, entertaining puppetry and spectacular sets. See it on Dec. 12, or attend one of two performances on Dec. 13 at The Music Hall at Fair Park. Just take the Green Line to Fair Park Station, and you’re right there.

The Rotary Clubs of Plano Holiday Parade is themed as a “Yee Haw Holiday” – think cowboy hats trimmed in tinsel, boots full of candy canes, and cacti strung with twinkle lights. The parade runs through Downtown Plano (here’s the route), so saddle up for some holiday cheer. It starts at 2 p.m. and is very accessible from Downtown Plano Station on the Red Line.

Holidays at Heritage Paradeand Tree Lighting features free family events every Friday and Saturday. The celebration runs through Dec. 20, and it takes place in Irving’s Heritage Park, near Downtown Irving/Heritage Crossing Station on the TRE.

The Polyphonic Spree 22nd Annual Holiday Extravaganza stars Dallas’ internationally acclaimed rock band/choir/orchestra. The group’s high-energy, festive holiday show takes place on Dec. 20 at the Majestic Theatre. That’s three blocks from St. Paul Station on all four DART Rail lines.
