The world’ biggest sporting event has arrived in North Texas! While it’s here, don’t miss the fan festival happening in Fair Park. And during Main Street Social Saturdays, which take place over the next month while all the soccer fans are in town, select blocks of Main Street in downtown Dallas are closed to vehicle traffic. Dallas Arts District Pride Block Party takes place on Flora Street between Harwood and Olive streets, as well as inside the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Dallas Museum of Art, and the Crow Museum of Asian Art. There are regional artists, live music, drag, poetry, gourmet food, and much more. It’s all walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on the Red, Blue, Green, and Orange lines, or from the M-Line Trolley.

'til Midnight at the Nasher is a great monthly event with live music and film screenings, along with food, drink, and, of course, world-class sculpture. This evening, in keeping with the Pride Block Party, the event features drag performances by Bleach and Friends, DJ sets by Barbie and La Taìna, and the rap and funk stylings of Cure for Paranoia. The movie for the evening is To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, the story of three New York City drag queens who embark on a road trip. Get to the Nasher by walking from Pearl/Arts District Station on the Red, Blue, Green, and Orange lines, or from the M-Line Trolley.
Grease, the beloved musical set in the high school world of the 1950s, features hits such as “Summer Nights” and “and “You’re the One That I Want.” Join the crew at Rydell High through June 28 at the Courtyard Theater. That’s right across Haggard Park from Downtown Plano Station on the Red Line.
Con Agua Para Chocolate is based on the same novel as the popular 1992 film. Set in the Mexican Revolution, the story follows a young couple as they navigate forbidden love. See it through June 28 at the Latino Cultural Center. That’s just down the street from Deep Ellum Station on the Green Line.

Kev Herrera comes to Irving. The New York-born comedian is the creator of the popular podcast The Lunchroom. Catch him at Punch Line Irving, walkable from the Orange Line’s Irving Convention Center Station.
Sunday, June 21
Sunset Safari Block Party is a free soccer-themed party taking place on the block between the Dallas Zoo and Halperin Park. There are vendors, food trucks, and live music, along with special installations in the zoo itself. The fan zone in the zoo, Goal Wild, is open, and you can get reduced-price tickets to Illuminature, which features large-scale light installations. Taking the Red Line to Dallas Zoo Station puts you right at the festivities.

Argentina Banderazo Fan Gathering gives you the chance to experience one of the most colorful and energetic traditions in international soccer. You’ll see lots of blue-and-white flags, spirited songs, drumming and dancing. The passionate cultural experience happens in Klyde Warren Park, walkable from St. Paul Station on the Red, Blue, Green, and Orange lines, or from the M-Line Trolley.
