Happy Independence Day! You’ll find numerous Fourth of July celebrations up and down the DART Rail lines, complete with fireworks, of course. Meanwhile, the summer of soccer has kicked into high gear. The fan festival in Fair Park is the hub of all things soccer, and on Saturday, the festival hosts country band the Turnpike Troubadours, whose rootsy music is perfect for Fourth of July. It’s all accessible from the Green Line’s Fair Park Station. You need a separate ticket for the concert.

Outlaw Festival features performances by legends such as Willie Nelson & Family, Wilco, Sheryl Crow, Lukas Nelson, and several more. Catch it at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Festival, walkable from Irving Convention Center Station on the Green Line.

Red, White & You is Garland's Independence Day celebration with live music, loads of summertime fun, and a fireworks show. There are also performances by the Texas Army National Guard’s 36th Infantry Division Band. At the same time, the Music Made Here concert series continues, with country duo Tigirlily Gold headlining. It all takes place on the Downtown Garland Square, an easy walk from the Blue Line’s Downtown Garland Station.

Addison Kaboom Town! is a nationally renowned fireworks show with food and drink vendors, music and family-friendly activities. The event happens at Addison Circle Park, near Addison Station on the Silver Line.

Sparks & Stripes is Irving's annual Fourth of July celebration taking place over two days. The event features a patriotic flyover, live music, fireworks, drones, and more at Levy Event Plaza. That’s near Las Colinas Urban Center Station on the Orange Line.
Saturday, July 4

Independence Day Celebration in Klyde Warren Park has numerous food trucks, live music, family fun, and fireworks. While you’re downtown, be sure to check out Main Street Social Saturdays, which features select blocks of Main Street in downtown Dallas closed to vehicle traffic, replacing it with vendors, food trucks, and live music. All the downtown festivities are easily walkable from Akard or St. Paul stations on the Red, Blue, Green, and Orange lines.
