Friday, May 30-Sunday, June1
Fan Expo Dallas is the largest sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event in Texas. Celebrity guests include a 40th anniversary reunion of the Back to the Future stars: Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Tom Wilson, and Elisabeth Shue. Others include John Cena, Orlando Bloom, Alicia Silverstone, Mr. T, John Boyega, Parker Posey, and more. The event takes place at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, served by Convention Center Station on the Red and Blue lines.
Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 – "Resurrection" is the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's season finale concert, conducted by Fabio Luisi and featuring the Dallas Symphony Chorus with distinguished featured vocalists. Experience it at the Meyerson Symphony Center, walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station and the M-Line Trolley.

Dulcé Sloan was a correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah., and she’s been hailed far and wide as a “top comedian to watch” – including by Variety and Rolling Stone. She'll perform four times this weekend at Hyena's Comedy Nightclub. That’s right by the mezzanine at SMU/Mockingbird Station on the Red, Blue, and Orange lines.
CityLine Live Music Series presents music under the stars at CityLine Plaza. Listen from one of the restaurant patios on State Street, or pick up dinner and drinks to-go and soak up the live sounds right in the plaza. Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are welcome. On Friday night, Jason Hatch takes the stage with his brand of acoustic Americana. On Saturday, Emsy Robinson brings soul, pop, and R&B to the plaza, which is walkable from CityLine/Bush Station on the Red Line.
Saturday, May 31
SPARK! Dallas presents Prismatic: Fantastical Realms, where you can step into fantastical environments – from underwater forests to crystal caverns – created by local high school students in collaboration with Meow Wolf Grapevine. The immersive exhibition opens today and will be open on weekends through September 7. SPARK! is located in the South Side on Lamar building, a short walk from Cedars Station on the Red and Blue lines.
The Taste of West End features lots of live music, tons of local food vendors, and other festival-y stuff. The family-friendly event takes place in the 1700 block of Market Street, just a block or two from West End Station on all four DART Rail lines.
Alison Krauss comes to Irving with her longstanding band, Union Station. The group is one of the most popular bluegrass acts in the world. They’ve released their first new album, Arcadia, in 14 years, and they’re supporting it at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory.
Saturday, May 31-Sunday, June 1
The Oddities and Curiosities Expo brings together hundreds of oddity vendors and artists from across the country. Taxidermy, preserved animal specimens, horror and Halloween-inspired artwork, antiques, skulls, bones – it’s all here. Check out this traveling showcase of the strange and unusual at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
STOMP is an international percussion sensation featuring s unconventional percussion instruments. Matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, and hubcaps -fill the stage with rhythm. Experience these unique performances at Winspear Opera House. That’s walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station and the M-Line Trolley.
