Live music and Mavs watch parties are DARTable this weekend. Read on to see where DART can take you.

Thursday, June 13
Denton Drive Live brings live music to Farmers Branch Historical Park – a very short walk from the Green Line’s Farmers Branch Station. Tonight, catch Penny & The Flamethrowers and The Texas Bluesmen.

Thursday, June 13-Friday, June 14

Badge of Pride LGBTQ+ History Exhibit is a pop-up exhibit featuring posters and some of the earliest protest buttons of the gay rights movement, some issued immediately after the famous Stonewall riots.  Visitors can also view and listen to some of the earliest music records issued for and by the gay community. Also on display are artifacts from the life of Harvey Milk. See the exhibit at the Irving Archives and Museum, walkable from Downtown Irving/Heritage Crossing Station on the Trinity Railway Express (TRE).

Friday, June 14

Dallas Mavericks Watch Party fans can come to Klyde Warren Park for a watch party under the stars as the Mavericks take on the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. The live broadcast of the game will be shown on a big screen at the pavilion. Guests can bring blankets and chairs to sit on the west lawn while enjoying bites from food trucks nearby. The park is walkable from St. Paul Station on all four DART Rail lines. The M-Line trolley takes you right there.

Dallas Mavericks Watch Party is the official watch party at American Airlines Center. All ticket proceeds benefit the Mavs Foundation. The AAC is served by Victory Station on the Green and Orange lines, as well as the Trinity Railway Express (TRE).

Gabito Ballesteros comes to Dallas as part of his first U.S. tour. See the Mexican singer-songwriter at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory. That’s walkable from the Orange Line’s Irving Convention Center Station.

Jack Ingram has been putting on energetic performances for more than 20 years. The iconoclastic Texas country musician has garnered Grammy and CMA nominations, and tonight he performs at Garland’s Plaza Theatre. Get to the v venue by taking the Blue Line to Downtown Garland Station; the theater is a short walk away.
