Comedy, bronc riding, and the greatest show on Earth are all on the roster this weekend. Check out this week’s lineup of DARTable offerings.

Friday, July 26

The Comedy Bang! Bang! All-Stars features Scott Aukerman and Paul F. Tompkins performing a completely improvised, live version of their popular podcast. Check them out at the Majestic Theatre, a short walk from St. Paul Station on all four DART Rail lines.

Friday, July 26-Sunday, July 28

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey The Greatest Show on Earth is an unforgettable spectacle for the whole family. The circus no longer features animals, but is instead an action-packed, modern production with stunts, acrobatics, and comedy. Catch it at American Airlines Center, served by Victory Station. Get there on the Green Line, Orange Line, or Trinity Railway Express (TRE). The TRE does not run on Sundays.

Saturday, July 27

Spark! Dallas presents its second Prismatic Art Pop-Up Experience, featuring 28 local high school students’ artistic creations. The exhibit is organized into several themed areas in singular color schemes. Check the performance out through Sept. 29 at South Side on Lamar. The venue is just a block from Cedars Station on the Red and Blue lines.

The 35th Texas Black Invitational Rodeo is a family-fun rodeo featuring African American cowboys and cowgirls competing for cash prizes in bronc and bull riding, calf and steer roping, barrel racing and more. There are also on-field kids’ activities and an intermission performance by Dallas TikTok sensation Chocolit Tye. The event takes place at Fair Park Coliseum, a short walk from the Green Line’s Fair Park Station.

Sunday, July 28

The Basically Beethoven Festival, now in its 43rd year, includes three chamber music concerts featuring many of Dallas’ top musicians. “Grand Pianos” features performer Eldred Marshall and rising star Noah DeGarmo. The performance is at 2:30pm at Moody Performance Hall. You can walk there from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line trolley.
