Make DART your ride to North Texas’ best spring flings!
Taste Addison
Festival season is in full swing, and you can avoid the traffic and parking hassles by riding DART to your springtime favorites.
If you’re looking for a quintessential DARTable classic, head to Taste Addison, happening April 25-27 at Addison Circle Park. 2025 marks the 30th year of this North Texas event, and the Town of Addison is bringing in big-name musical acts to mark the milestone.
The entertainment is spread across seven entertainment areas in the festival’s 12-acre park. Each stage offers a unique experience. For example, at the WorldBeats Stage, you can enjoy live performances from international musicians such as Los Gran Reyes and The All Around Czechs. Meanwhile, the WorldBeats Dance Floor will showcase artists from more than 10 countries. This is just a taste of the music you can enjoy, but Taste Addison also features headliners such as Hoobastank, Silversun Pickups and Wade Bowen, along with dozens of regional acts.
The family-friendly festival has tons of restaurants featuring reduced prices, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and other foodie stuff. In fact, nearly 50 local restaurants will serve up their signature dishes in the Chow Hall, Tasting Hut and WorldEats Street. To top it off, you can pair it with the beverage of your choice at the Speakeasy, The Lawn, The Corkyard or Beyond the Bar Mocktails.
Taste Addison has entertainment for little ones, too. The Blue Dot Spot will host talented North Texans, including puppeteers, magicians, jugglers and fire dancers. In addition, the Blackbox 30 inside the Addison Performing Arts Centre will feature a delicious combination of live jazz mixed with breathtaking performances by silk aerialists.
Ready to get your taste on? It’s all happening at Addison Circle Park, located near Addison Transit Center. The center is served by several DART buses, including routes 22, 200, 202, 227, 229, 235, 236, 237, 238 and 239. That should leave no doubt -- DART is the best way to Taste Addison!

Wildflower Arts and Music Festival
Fun is in bloom at this three-day annual event featuring a wide variety of musical acts. There are also tons of artists, exhibitors and vendors; street performers, acrobats and magicians; craft beer and wine gardens; a kids’ zone; and a whole lot more.
To get there, take the Red Line to Galatyn Park Station. The festival takes place in Galatyn Park Urban Center, immediately adjacent to the station.
June 14-15
This fun weekend of LGBTQ+ pride takes place in Fair Park. The festivities kick off on Saturday with the Dallas Pride Music Festival, featuring events for all ages. On Sunday, the festival presents the Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade, featuring floats, costumes and performers. The parade travels from the Fair Park Coliseum to the Hall of State.
To get there on DART, just ride the Green Line to Fair Park Station.
