55 Years: President Kennedy on Magazine Covers 1963-2018 ends its run at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza after this weekend. The exhibit features a broad representation of popular magazine covers from the last five decades. It’s a fascinating time capsule, and it’s only three short blocks from West End Station on all four DART Rail lines.

AT&T Red River Showdown is one of the most famous grudge matches in all of college football. The University of Texas Longhorns and the University of Oklahoma Sooners go at it one more time in the Cotton Bowl. If you’re lucky enough to have tickets, take note that parking is likely to be a major headache. Take DART’s Green Line to Fair Park Station and get there in the right frame of mind for some gridiron greatness.
Plano International Festival has food, entertainment and family fun. There are ethnic dance performances, food trucks, music and other cultural stuff from more than 100 cultures. The event also features the region's only outdoor naturalization ceremony. The festival takes place in Haggard Park, right next to Downtown Plano Station on the Red Line.
The Urban Artist Market features more than 75 artisans and craftsmen plying their handmade wares – pottery, jewelry, stained glass and lots more. The market takes place from 11 a.m-5 p.m. at the Addison Conference and Theatre Center. That’s about an 8-minute walk from Addison Transit Center.
The Urban Flea is another great market happening today. Garland's event has a vintage spin, with antiques, handmade items and stylish finds aplenty. You’ll find dozens of vendors in the city's historic downtown square area, which is full of unique mom-and-pop shops and restaurants. Live music completes the experience only 4 or 5 minutes from Downtown Garland Station on the Green Line.

Red Chariot is an apocalyptic sci-fi thriller. The Internet has (somehow) created a mysterious tarot deck that affects the past, present and future. The play explores technology and the ways that humans sometimes mess things up. We don’t know about the apocalypse, but today’s matinee is definitely the play’s last performance at the Undermain Theatre. The Deep Ellum mainstay is about a 7-minute walk from the Green Line’s Baylor University Medical Center Station.
