DART’s annual Bike to Work Day event encourages people to try bicycle commuting as a healthy alternative to driving. The benefits include: an easier connection to DART services, burning calories instead of gas, saving money and promoting a cleaner environment. Did you know DART makes it easy to combine your biking and transit trips with features on its buses and trains? You can find easy-to-use storage racks on the front of DART buses, while on trains, you can just roll your bike right in. DART also offers free bike racks and lids at rail stations and transit centers. These racks and lids are free to use and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
