Do you enjoy live music, tasty food and learning about your community?

The city of Richardson invites locals to a block party, June 13-14, to learn about transit-oriented development in the city’s Innovation District. The party take place at 1302 E. Collins Boulevard in Richardson.

Enjoy music, food trucks, testing out new park and trail ideas and sharing your ideas about new uses, restaurants and other spaces for the district.

The Collins/Arapaho Transit-Oriented Development and Innovation District Study served as a guide for the district’s development, which anticipates an approximate 1,200-acre area, generally within Central Expressway (US 75), Campbell Road, Plano Road and Apollo Road.

Block Party Dates and Times:

June 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

June 14 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

DART is your ride to the block party. Ride to Arapaho Center Station on the Red Line, then take Bus Route 551 towards LBJ/Skillman Station. Get off at the Collins at Prospect bus stop, and the festivities are a short walk away.

Visit the block party event page to register for the event. And, to learn more about transit’s impact on the Innovation District, visit the city of Richardson’s website at cor.net.
