State Fair season has begun and is well underway and so is Hispanic Heritage Month. Looking for a way to celebrate? Head on over to the State Fair of Texas. This year the State Fair will have some exhibits and attractions that honor Hispanic Heritage.

Mundo Latino’s Día de los Muertos showcases the one-of-a-kind, colorful, cultural phenomenon that is the Day of the Dead. This year’s exhibit is extra special as it pays homage to those lost due to COVID-19 and the force behind Mundo Latino, Cynthia Benavides-Luna. ¡Fiestas de Marionetas! is one of this year’s not-to-miss shows. Surrounded by lights and beautiful landscaping, a small village of more than 85 handmade marionettes come to life to celebrate a fiesta of color, culture, and creativity.
