As we look back on DART's 40-year history, we celebrate both our early years and our more recent accomplishments. 

In December 2010, DART completed the 28-mile, 20-station Green Line, which meant the opening of three rail stations in Carrollton: Downtown Carrollton, North Carrollton/Frankford, and Trinity Mills stations.

The introduction of rail service through the heart of the city, helped revitalize Historic Downtown Carrollton. This mixed-use transit-oriented development neighborhood is now a hip, vibrant entertainment district, featuring unique shops and eclectic restaurants. The city continues to invest in the downtown, and its next big TOD project is the Trinity Mills Transit Center, which is planned to include office space, multi-family housing, restaurants, and a hotel.
