The fun is just steps away from Downtown Carrollton Station on the DART Green Line! If you head out after noon, you only need a PM Pass to ride. You can buy passes for your whole group on the free DART GoPass mobile app, available in the Apple App Store or the Google Play store.
Festivalgoers are highly encouraged to park remotely at one of DART’s free park-and-ride lots and take DART Rail to festival area since parking in downtown will be extremely limited. North Carrollton/Frankford Station and Trinity Mills Station to the north, or Farmers Branch Station to the south are great options.
This yearly event, held the first Saturday of each November, is sure to be a rockin’ good time for the whole family, with performances across all genres and decades. This year’s artists include double-platinum, Grammy award-winning rock band headliner Soul Asylum and multi-platinum selling bands Hoobastank, as well as Lit and Marcy Playground as openers. North Texas favorite Emerald City Band, Hip Hop Hooray, Run to You, and Jade Flores Band will round out the main stage entertainment. All day entertainment begins at 12 p.m.
In addition to the concerts and live children’s entertainment, you will be able to grab a bite to eat from a variety of food vendors and unique downtown restaurants, as well as browse festival booths and the eclectic shops surrounding the downtown square.
Enjoy rides and games, face painting, balloon and spin art, caricature drawings, arts and crafts, and a photo booth, all of which are free! Or take a break in the beer garden and visit one of three bars at the festival for a variety of beer, wine, seltzer, and cider. Several downtown restaurants also offer mixed drinks!
