The Ozark Mountain Daredevils come to Dallas on what is being billed as the last tour of their career, which spans more than 50 years and has seen the release of 16 albums. The country rockers are joined by Pure Prairie League. Check them out at the Winspear Opera House, walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line Trolley.
Oscar Maydon comes to Irving as part of his Rico o Muerto Tour. The Mexican singer and composer has released two albums in his career, most recently Distorsión in 2023. See him at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, walkable from the Orange Line’s Irving Convention Center Station.
Be My Baby tells the story of a grumpy Scotsman and a stodgy English woman, both in their late 50s, who take an unexpected journey together. See it through Aug. 31 at Richardson Theatre Centre! You can walk from the Red Line's Arapaho Center Station, or catch bus route 238

Brad Wenzel is a comedian who has appeared multiple times on Conan, and his debut comedy album, Sweet Nothings, was released on Jack White’s rock label, Third Man Records. See the offbeat, dry comedian at Dallas Comedy Club, walkable from the Green Line’s Baylor University Medical Center Station.
Sunday, Aug. 24
Generations: 150 Years of Sculpture is the Nasher Sculpture Center’s 2025 summer show, and today is its final day. Drawn from the Nasher’s permanent collection, including numerous recent acquisitions, the exhibition features more than 50 works of art. The Nasher is walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line Trolley.
