Ehnes Plays Elgar, presented by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, features violinist James Ehnes and conductor Fabio Luisi. Selections include Elgar's “Violin Concerto”, Schumann’s “Symphony No. 1”, and Adolphus Hailstork’s “Epitaph for a Man who Dreamed”, which pays homage to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. See the performance at the Meyerson Symphony Center, located a short walk from Pearl/Arts District Station on all fur DART Rail lines.

Deon Cole: Coleology Tour is the stand-up act of the comedian best known for his role on the TV show “Black-ish.” Catch the veteran comedian at the Majestic Theatre, a few blocks from St. Paul Station, on all four DART Rail lines.

Mozart con Amore features violinist Chloé Trevor and violist Marcus Pyle in this edition of Garland Symphony Orchestra’s Mozart series. In addition to the Mozart selections, the program features the music of Schubert. The concert happens at the Granville Arts Center, right next to the Blue Line’s Downtown Garland Station.

Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO® Bricks  is a cool exhibit at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. With 20 iconic skyscrapers from around the world reproduced using half a million LEGOs, the constructs will inspire you and your family to contribute to a growing, interactive installation. The Perot Museum is a few blocks north of West End Station or Akard Station on all four DART Rail lines.

Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration is the 33rd installment of this event hosted by the Garland NAACP. The parade starts at 10 a.m. at Embree Park, and ends at the Granville Arts Center – right next to Downtown Garland Station on the Blue Line. At 12:30 p.m., there will be a musical presentation by the MLK Communitywide Youth Choir and Garland Independent School District fine arts students. The events are all free.

Love Loves a Pornographermay have a racy title, but it’s an homage to Victorian drawing-room comedies by the likes of Oscar Wilde. Lord Loveworthy, the titular pornographer, attempts to blackmail his neighbor to pay for his daughter’s wedding. So how does that work? Find out at the Cox Playhouse in the Downtown Plano Arts District, right across Haggard Park from Downtown Plano Station.
