Something Rotten! is set in the 1590s and follows a pair of brothers who set out to write a hit play – but find themselves in the shadow of one William Shakespeare. A soothsayer foresees that the future of theater will involve singing, dancing, and acting, and the two write the world’s very first musical. Catch the performance through Feb. 25 at the Firehouse Theatre, walkable from the Green Line’s Farmers Branch Station.

Indulge in treats and beverages, and brows vendors offering flowers, fashion, jewelry and candles. The AT&T Discovery District is walkable from Akard Station on all four DART Rail lines.

Cultural Awareness is Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s celebration of diversity as explored through movement, rhythm, and expression from around the world. See it at the Wyly Theatre, walkable from Peal/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or the M-Line trolley.
