PNC Patio Sessions: Taylor Pace features a singer/songwriter who specializes in jazz, soul and R&B. Expect smooth vocals, great keyboards, and a captivating live performance at Sammons Park, in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines. It’s a block from the M-Line trolley.



Friday, June 2

Rebelution brings its unique brand of reggae rock to Irving. See the California-based band at the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, walkable from Irving Convention Center Station. You can also take Bus Route 227 to the venue.

Friday, June 2-Saturday, June 3

Taste Addison is a DARTable, two-day culinary cornucopia at Addison Circle Park. Participating restaurants include Asian Mint, Taqueria La Ventana, Thai Orchid, Ron’s Place, Lupe Tortilla, and dozens more. You’ll also find chef demonstrations, wine tastings, and other foodie stuff. There is also a marketplace with vendors, plus 18 musical acts on two stages. The celebrations are all a short walk from Addison Transit Center – served by DART Bus Routes 22, 200, 202, 227, 229, 235, 236, 237, 238, 239, 240, and 305.

Oliver! is an award-winning adaptation of the Broadway musical based on the Charles Dickens novel. Nine-year-old orphan Oliver Twist falls in with a group of street-urchin pickpockets. But when an intended mark gives him a home, the head pickpocket conspires to kidnap Oliver back.  Company of Rowlett Performers’ production is at Garland’s Plaza Theatre, a short walk from the Blue Line’s Downtown Garland Station.

Shop Small Saturday is a great way to show your support for local businesses in Historic Downtown Carrollton, a charming district of restaurants, boutiques and other fun stuff. Visit “mom and pop” by taking the Green Line to Downtown Carrollton Station.

The Way She Spoke is a haunting one-woman play that takes the audience to the streets of Juarez, Mexico, where an epidemic of violence has victimized thousands of women. Based on the playwright’s interviews, the play gives voice to women silenced by fear. See the performance at the Undermain Theatre, walkable from Baylor Medical Center Station on the Green Line.

Dallas Pride Weekend celebrates 40 years of pride, with the Dallas Pride Music Festival on Saturday, the Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade on Sunday, and lots of fun in between. Celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Fair Park, right next to Fair Park Station on the Green Line.
