It’s a great weekend for DARTable concerts and musical theater. Read on to see where DART can take you.

Thursday, July 18-Saturday, July 20

Shrek The Musical is a spectacular stage production based on the beloved animated film. See your favorite ogre at Winspear Opera House. The venue is walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line trolley.

Friday, July 19, 2024

Mary Poppins The Musical is entertaining for adults and children alike, with its familiar story, catchy songs, amazing dancing, and flying effects. Catch the performance through July 28 at WaterTower Theatre. The venue is near Addison Transit Center – served by DART Bus Routes 22, 200, 202, 227, 229, 235, 236, 237, 238, 239, 240, and 305.

Friday, July 19-Saturday, July 20

Brooks Wheelan was in the cast of Saturday Night Live, and he has a host of other television credits to his name. See him perform at Dallas Comedy Club, walkable from Baylor University Medical Center on the Green Line.

Saturday, July 20

Peso Pluma is a Mexican singer with two top-five albums under his belt and a new release, Exodo. He comes to American Airlines Center in support of that album. Get to the venue by taking the Green Line, Orange Line, or Trinity Railway Express (TRE) to Victory Station.

Tate McRae has also made Billboard’s top five, and also hails from a neighboring country – Canada. She performs at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, walkable from the Orange Line’s Irving Convention Center Station. You can also take Bus Route 227.

Sunday, July 21

The second installment of Basically Beethoven Festival 2024 happens this Sunday. This free event will feature a chamber music concert featuring Dallas’ top musicians as well as rising stars. This Sunday's performance is dubbed “Blow, Winds.” Don’t miss the performances at Moody Performance Hall, walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or the M-Line Trolley.
