The Texas Theater will celebrate the life of Texas icon, Selena Quintanilla-Perez.
The Tejano singer was murdered by her fan club president March 31, 1995. This year marks the 20
th anniversary of her untimely death. In commemoration the theater will have a special screening of ‘Selena."
Starring Jennifer Lopez, the film follows the singer’s rise to super-stardom.

The movie starts at 4:00 p.m. and is free of charge, thanks to the Oak Cliff Cultural Center.
