Learn how two men -- in conjunction with DART and Union Gospel Mission -- had the opportunity to find careers that allow them to make a living and serve their fellow North Texans.   The Union Gospel Mission has helped thousands of North Texans find new lives since it opened in 1949. While they provide people with physical and emotional support, one of the most transformative services they provide is job training. The two men featured in today’s Faces of DART took advantage of that training and are now working as DART bus operators and giving back to their local community. As the operators themselves note, they take a lot of pride in having gone from riding the DART bus to becoming Operators themselves, and that pride shows in their work.
