Big changes are coming to DART fares in 2025, making it easier for riders to navigate and pay for transit. The new fare structure goes into effect on March 1, 2025, streamlining some fare options while introducing new discounts for veterans and bulk purchase programs.
DART is replacing several short-term fare options with a new 3-Hour Pass, designed to give riders more flexibility. The Single Ride, AM Pass, PM Pass, and Midday Pass will be consolidated into this one standard pass, priced at:
✅ $3.00 for Adult Local Fare
✅ $1.50 for Reduced Fare Riders
The 3-Hour Pass will be valid on buses, trains, and GoLink services, allowing unlimited transfers within the time period.
The Day Pass remains $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for reduced fare riders—one of the most frequently used passes.
The Local Monthly Pass will increase from $96 to $126.
The Retail Annual Pass will no longer be available due to low demand. However, Corporate Annual Pass program participants will still have access to discounted rates. For more information on becoming a Corporate Annual Pass program member, please visit DART.org/corp or email [email protected].
For the first time, U.S. military veterans will be eligible for half-price fares. Veterans must apply for a DART-issued Reduced Fare GoPass® Tap card online or in person at DARTmart at Akard Station.
The Discount GoPass Tap Card Program, which offers 50% off fares for riders receiving benefits from qualifying assistance programs, is now a permanent offering. Eligible riders can apply or renew online or at DARTmart. For more information on the Discount GoPass Tap Card Program, please visit DART.org/TapForHalf.
DART is introducing tiered discounts for bulk fare purchases, benefiting:
✔️ Special event organizers purchasing passes for attendees
✔️ Corporate participants looking to offer transit benefits
✔️ Educational institutions, with expanded eligibility for elementary students (K-5)
These changes for corporate, educational, and discount programs took effect January 1, 2025.
