The always great Riverfront Jazz Festival rolls into Dallas on Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 2-4.
The festival showcases a long list of top-flight talent from the jazz world, as well as other genres – including Erykah Badu, Cameo, Boney James, and many more.
There’s also a showcase stage for promising young artists from North Texas. Along with the music, you’ll also find vendor booths and awesome food.
The weekend of jazz happens at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, 650 South Griffin St., and the Naomi Bruton Theatre of the Black Academy of Arts and Letters, located right next door at 1309 Canton St.
Both venues are within easy walking distance of DART’s Convention Center Station. Just hop on the Red Line or Blue Line, and jazz excellence lies a few steps away.
There’s late-night jazz entertainment at several downtown hotels, as well. Check the Lineup tab on the website for details.
