Taste of Dallas has become one of the area’s most anticipated annual festivals, with hundreds of exhibitors and tons of local restaurants offering reduced-price samplings of their wares. Tens of thousands of people attend each year, and there’s truly something for everybody. Over 70 indoor and outdoor restaurants will be on hand – along with the Culinary Marketplace, Sweet Factory and an event called the Taste of the Town.
This year’s event will be highlighted by the new BBQ, Burgers & Brews Experience. The event is curated by Tim Byres of Smoke, and it’s guaranteed to offer some of the best barbecue and burgers in Dallas, along with samples from more than 20 great craft beer breweries.
The festival also hosts vendors selling homemade and crafted goods, and includes many activities for kids -- including an indoor, air-conditioned Family Fun Zone, a petting zoo, hands-on activities, and arts and crafts.
It all happens Saturday and Sunday, June 10-11, in the Automobile Building at Fair Park. Take the Green Line to Fair Park Station, and you’re there!
