DFW-first-day-of-service-8-18-14_4 National lifestyle news site Thrillist came out with a new list of the best airports for long layovers and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport made the cut thanks to the new direct rail service from DART. Here's what they say:
What you’re taking: DART Orange Line to Parker Road/LBJ Central Where it goes: University of Dallas, Downtown Dallas (West End, Akard, St. Paul, Pearl/Arts District) Cityplace/Uptown Where to catch it: Take the walkway from Terminal A to the DART station between International Parkway and the North Service Road. Average time to downtown: 50-60 minutes What it'll cost you: $2.50 for a two-hour pass. $5 for a day pass.
