DART riders who participate in DART’s Discount GoPass^® Tap card pilot program – or any other reduced-fare program that expires annually – need to renew their discount by January 31, 2024.

Per the program guidelines, participants in the Discount GoPass Tap Card Program must annually provide documentation that shows they still participate in one of the qualifying assistance programs* to keep your reduced fares.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not renew your Discount GoPass Tap card by Jan. 31, 2024, your reduced fares will expire and any taps with your Discount GoPass Tap card will be charged at the full-price adult fare beginning Feb. 1, 2024.

How to Renew Your Discount GoPass Tap Card Registration

1. Come in person to DARTmart at Akard Station by Jan. 31, 2024.
2. Provide documentation that verifies you will receive benefits from a qualifying assistance program* throughout 2024.
3. Receive a new expiration sticker. If you do not have a new GoPass Tap card with a barcode on the front, one will be issued to you.

DARTmart is located at DART Headquarters at Akard Station, 1401 Pacific Ave., Dallas. You may update your GoPass Tap card at DARTmart Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., except for holidays. To reload your Discount GoPass Tap card, you now can visit stores in DART’s new retail network, which includes Albertsons, Tom Thumb, and Market Street grocery stores, 7-Eleven, and many independent convenience stores.
