Ride the DART Rail
Green Line to
Fair Park Station Saturday for the Big Texas Beer Fest. The 2015 event is the fourth-annual and happens April 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fair Park Automobile Building, 1010 1st Ave. Last year's festival featured 106 breweries and over 400 beers. BTBF is well-known as the festival to go to for exclusive and rare beers, one-offs and special firkins. Plenty of food is available from one of the many food trucks, or local artisanal food vendors. And while you eat, be sure to listen to local music acts on the outdoor stage. A portion of the festivals proceeds will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank. Information: www.bigtexasbeerfest.com.
