As you may know, DART is close to finding a Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) that we will submit to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) in the fall.  We’ve established three major options for the D2 Subway’s path and two major exit and entry points for the subway. The three major paths are Elm Street, Commerce Street, and Pacific Street. The two major exits and entries are Swiss Avenue and Victory Right-Of-Way. DART takes careful consideration of every possible alignment option and will continue to identify the pros and cons of each route until we reach the best viable and reasonable alternative that DART will submit to the FTA.  We still have a lot of work to do and will continue to make refinements to the LPA once selected.
