DART begins South Oak Cliff Three Line extension [Progressive Railroading]
The project calls for extending the DART Blue Line 2.6 miles from Ledbetter Station to the University of North Texas at Dallas. The line will feature two stations — one at Camp Wisdom and one at UNT Dallas — as well as a redesigned Ledbetter Station, which currently serves as the southern terminus of the Blue Line.

Kansas City Council gives green light to plans for larger streetcar taxing district [KC Star]
The Kansas City Council on Thursday gave the green light to preparations for a streetcar funding district that would encompass much of Kansas City south of the Missouri River.
If voters approve the new funding district, it will help pay for 8 to 10 more miles of streetcar extensions.
