You clicked on an article that we posted in 2014 and a lot has changed in the last 7 years! First, the Fort Worth Transportation Authority is now known as Trinity Metro (https://ridetrinitymetro.org/) and their TEXRail commuter rail line (https://ridetrinitymetro.org/texrail-schedule/) is open.
If you travel between the DART and Trinity Metro systems, you will need to buy a Regional Pass in the GoPass app. Since both systems use GoPass, you can plan your trip in GoPass, too.
The simplest way to get to the TEXRail line is to ride DART's Orange Line to DFW Airport Terminal A Station, use the walkway to get to DFW Airport Terminal B Station (it's a pedestrian underpass), then board the TEXRail trains to Fort Worth.
