The City of Carrollton and DART are partnering to host an ol' fashioned Drive-In Movie experience at DART's North Carrollton/Frankford Station (2941 Trade Center) at sunset on Friday, August 4. The movie will start at 9 p.m., and it will be shown in the large parking area just east of the DART Rail station. The parking lot will open at 7 p.m.

Bring family and friends for a showing of The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), PG. Cheer on the world’s most favorite animated Brooklyn plumbers, Mario (Chris Pratt) and his brother Luigi (Charlie Day), as they attempt to fix a major water main leak underground and are transported into an alternate world.

The two brothers become separated, and Mario must join forces with Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) of the Mushroom Kingdom to take on the ruthless, fire-breathing Bowser (Jack Black) and rescue Luigi.

Park in the lot, turn your radio dial to the FM station on the screen for sound, get comfy, and enjoy the movie. Parking is limited, so carpool with friends and family to make it an epic night.

You also can take the DART Rail Green Line to North Carrollton/Frankford Station, but be sure to bring chairs and a radio with you so that you can hear the audio.

Food vendors will be on hand from Auntie Anne’s®, Dat’s a N’ice Italian Ice, and HTeaO.
