DART monitors winter weather effects on bus, rail systems

Update, Feb.7, 8:00 a.m.: DART Rail is operating on a normal schedule today. Buses are subject to local road conditions and could experience some delays. Update, Feb. 6, 1:40 p.m.: As the snow and precipitation moves out of Dallas-Fort Worth, DART Rail is continuing to operate on a normal schedule with minimal delays. Buses are subject to the local road conditions and may encounter some delays. Crews are working to remove snow and slush from platforms, but passengers are still advised to use caution when boarding DART vehicles. akard-snowshovel Thank you for your continued support. Original entry on February 6: The snowy weather is having a minimal effect on the DART bus and rail systems, but passengers are advised to exercise caution around DART platforms and bus stops as snow accumulation may create slick spots. Currently: • DART is treating slick spots on platforms and passenger areas. • DART buses are subject to local road conditions, but passengers may encounter some delays. The City of Dallas has activated the Ice Force Level 1 to treat roads. • DART Rail is operating as normal at this time. Please be safe and stay warm.
