DART to the Dallas Black Dance Academy's Espresso Nutcracker

The Nutcracker is a holiday staple, and Dallas Black Dance Academy’s The Espresso Nutcracker comes with a twist: It combines Tchaikovsky’s classic score with Duke Ellington’s unique “Nutcracker Suite.” The choreography is a little different, too; it mixes classical ballet with contemporary ballet and jazz. It’s the only Nutcracker of color experience in DFW and features a youth cast.
This somewhat shorter version of the holiday favorite follows the familiar storyline. The Espresso Nutcracker is a sweet treat for all ages, and you can catch it this Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m., at the Majestic Theatre. The venue is just a short walk from St. Paul Station on all four DART Rail lines.#DARTable #DART2DBDT DC
