Editor's note: This FAQ originally appeared in Rider Insider. tickettoride Will I have to pay the regional fare to take the Orange Line to DFW Airport Station? The ride to DFW Airport Station will be covered by the local fare - $2.50 for a two-hour pass and $5 for a day pass. Will DART buses still serve the airport? The Orange Line will replace all bus service from Belt Line Station to DFW International Airport. Buses will be deployed only in the event of a service disruption. What are the rules about luggage on DART Rail? The center car of each three-car rail vehicle provides boarding level with the platform - perfect for roll-on luggage - and abundant floor space compared with the other cars. A DFW Smarte Carte station is located near the walkway between the airport and DFW Airport Station. You must be able to board and exit DART vehicles with all baggage at one time and without luggage carts. Luggage must not block the aisles; the cars do not have racks on board. DART operators are not required to provide assistance. Can I check my bags at Terminal A? Passengers flying on American Airlines from Terminal A can walk from the station up the walkway to the terminal to check-in, check bags and pass through a security checkpoint. Passengers taking American Airlines flights from another terminal can do the same and then take Skylink. Passengers using other air carriers who need to check bags should take their bags with them and use Terminal Link, the airport's interterminal bus shuttle, which stops near the rail station. (If you have only carry-on luggage, you can go through security and take Skylink to your terminal.) Do I need my DART pass to board the Terminal Link? Terminal Link is free and does not require a pass. How do I access Skylink? Skylink is located inside the terminal, beyond airport security. I have additional questions. Whom do I ask?
