The event takes place Oct. 29 from noon-5 p.m. at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, a six-minute walk from MLK, Jr. Station. Ride DART to the event and enthrall yourself in a quilt exhibit, an African mask display and a variety of foods in the Harambee African Marketplace. The Arthello Beck, Jr. Watoto (children’s) Village will provide entertainment, educational games, painting, and safety and health information.
