Take DART to one of many outdoor events this weekend – the biggest one being, of course,  the State Fair of Texas.  DART is the best way to go. You can even save $5 off your admission. Learn more by checking out the Events tab on the GoPass® app. To get to the fair, just take the Green Line to Fair Park Station, right at the front gate.

You’ll also find free movies, outdoor concerts, and an arts festival this weekend. Keep reading to see where DART can take you.

Music Made Here is a free concert series in the Downtown Garland Square. The surrounding neighborhood has plenty of food and drink to choose from. Tonight’s performer is country, blues, and gospel singer Melissa Eppes. It’s all easy walking distance from the Blue Line’s Downtown Garland Station.

Grapevine Main Live is another fun outdoor concert series, and it features  a lineup of free shows from area tribute bands. Tonight, catch Tojo, a Toto and Journey tribute band. The concert takes place at Peace Plaza, right next to Grapevine/Main Street Station on Trinity Metro’s TEXRail line. That’s the very next station after you transfer from the Silver Line at DFW Airport North Station.
