Thursday, May 23-Saturday, May 25

EVERGREEN [to grow] is an untraditional concert featuring Caroline Shaw’s The Evergreen. The cross-disciplinary performance is part of AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Elevator Project. The series presents exciting and ambitious new work by emerging Dallas arts groups. Experience the performance at the Wyly Theatre, walkable from Pearl/Arts District Station on all four DART Rail lines, or from the M-Line trolley.

Friday, May 24

Fiddler on the Roof centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. With the help of the tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to instill his daughters with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. The Company of Rowlett Performers (CORE) presents this classic through June 2 at Garland’s Plaza Theatre. The venue is a short walk from the Blue Line’s Downtown Garland Station.

Cloud Tectonics is Teatro Dallas’ production of Academy Award-nominated writer José Rivera’s play. The tale of magical realism is set in apocalyptic times and involves a motorist and a pregnant hitchhiker. See it through May 30 at Latino Cultural Center, just down the street from Deep Ellum Station on the Green Line.

Gunna comes to Irving in support of his 2023 album, A Gift & A Curse. See the rapper, singer, and songwriter at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, walkable from the Orange Line’s Irving Convention Center Station. You can also take Bus Route 227.

Saturday, May 25-Sunday, May 26
