March 1-3, North Texas shows its Irish streak with three days of fun and shenanigans at Fair Park. The North Texas Irish Festival has been going strong for 40 years. DART takes you right to the Emerald Isle – more or less – complete with harps, fiddles and dancers. Not to mention food vendors and storytellers. All of these add up to “Irish,” and you’ll discover them at this beloved annual event. One of the largest Irish festivals in the U.S., the family-friendly event is known far and wide as a premier venue for traditional Celtic music – and this year’s lineup includes Breaking Trad, Dalliance, Ed Miller, and Eileen Ivers, among many others.
Don’t miss the NTX Irish Festival Fun Run, a jaunt through the beautiful grounds of Fair Park on Saturday morning, March 2. This family-friendly fun run is perfect for runners or walkers of any age or ability.
The festivities all happen in Fair Park. Get on the Green Line (of course!), get off at Fair Park Station, and get your Irish on.
