The submission deadline for DART's 2015 Student Art Contest is rapidly approaching. North Texas students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade have the chance to win cash and prizes from The Dallas Zoo, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and Half Price Books. Winners will also have their artwork displayed on DART buses. The theme for this year's contest is "Explore Your World with DART." Students are asked to share some of the unique places they've discovered riding DART — or the destinations yet to be explored. Contest submissions are due by February 27 (Update: Due to the inclement weather, the deadline has been extended to March 5) and all winners' artwork will be exhibited beginning Thursday, April 16 at the DMA.
