Turn it green: Be sure to activate your ticket in the GoPass app or tap your GoPass Tap card, contactless credit card or device to a reader prior to boarding. Day Passes are only valid on the day of activation.

DART offers four great contactless ways to buy your pass quickly, safely, and conveniently:

1. GoPass^® app: Download the latest version of the app for FREE from the App Store or Google Play. In addition to buying passes, you can also use GoPass to plan trips and get next bus or train times. Just be sure to activate your pass before you board.
   
2. GoPass^® Tap: Available at hundreds of participating retailers such as 7-Eleven, Tom Thumb, and more, GoPass Tap is the reloadable transit card that automatically gives you the best fare every time you ride. Simply tap your card to a reader on a DART Rail platform or bus prior to boarding, and your fare is deducted automatically.
   
3. Credit or debit card: To purchase your pass, tap your contactless credit or debit card to a reader on a DART Rail platform or bus prior to boarding. It’s that simple. Your contactless card is your ticket. Now you’re on your way to all the fun!
   
4. Mobile device: Using your preferred mobile payment app – such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay -- tap your mobile device to a reader on a DART Rail platform or bus to buy your pass. Just tap – and go! Your digital wallet serves as your ticket, and each rider should have their own pass.

DART buses receive nightly cleanings, and light rail vehicles are cleaned at the eight terminus stations throughout the day with a focus on high-touch areas including handrails, door buttons, grab rails, and hanging straps.
