(Visit DART.org for everything you need to know about riding to St. Patrick's Day festivities.) • Ride the DART Rail Green Line or Orange Line to Market Center Station, then an approximate 1/2 mile walk for the the Dallas Quilt Show 2015 at Market Hall, 2200 Stemmons Frwy. This year's theme is "Funny Quilts". In addition to viewing all of the judged entries for this year's show, the show offers numerous vendors, lectures and demonstrations, a Miniature Quilt Auction that benefits the Vickery Youth Development Foundation, and much more. In addition, American Quilter's Society (AQS) Certified Appraisers will be available by appointment during the show to give written appraisals of quilts and quilted garments. Show hours are Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 12 noon to 5:00 p.m. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults (ages 18 to 65), $9 for seniors (ages 65 and older) and $4 for children (ages 13-17). Children under age 13 are free. $8 advance tickets are available at local quilt shops or by mail. Information: www.quiltersguildofdallas.org. • Ride the DART Rail Red Line or Blue Line to Convention Center Station for Walker Stalker Con is at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, 650 S. Griffin. Zombies and Horror infect Dallas with your favorite stars from your favorite zombie, horror and sci-fi hits. It's not just a convention. It's a fan meet-up and an opportunity for each guest to come away feeling like they've had an amazing experience and became part of a greater community of zombie lovers! Walker Stalker Con is two days of events, panels, and experiences that zombie fans won't find anywhere else and filled with celebrities, artists, vendors and activities for the whole family.
